PARTY

Few words can describe the scenes last night. An utterly phenomonal night organised by utter legends. Massive thanks to Jamo, Haydn , BN and Vics for organising a cracking evening. 24 (the club) really didnt know what hit it and when Milo dropped the hammer on his tunes the place went off the reservation.
Have spent the whole day at work smiling and bobbing my head to the "beat it" tempo. People tell me I am nuts, but f**k em, they missed THE party-its their life that is incomplete not mine.

Officially 19 days till we leave. I for one suggest that we try to re-create last nights triumph at 30,000 feet on the Qatar flight...should help settle a few nerves before the trek.

Whilst I write this, Simple Minds "Alive and kicking" is destroying my eardrums.. Its message is pretty clear..

What you gonna do when things go wrong?
What you gonna do when it all cracks up?
What you gonna do when the love burns down?
What you gonna do when the flames go up?
Who is gonna come and turn the tide?
Whats it gonna take to make a dream survive?

I think on the basis of last night all the above is surmountable by a crew of people who leave me astounded as to their talent, drive and most of all love for this mission.

Off to Cornwall to continue living the dream that is this expidition.
